Home is where your heart is…
And if so, then it is in multiple places and with numerous people in our lives, BUT we did create a NEW HOME on land! Soulstice is our water home and has provided us with stupendous adventures. She continues to nurture our insatiable desire for exploration. However, I also had a proclivity to engage in nesting in a home and community. So… I bought a HOUSE in Leavenworth, Washington, and the cosmic chemistry I feel when in this area is eerie. It feels like a homecoming.
I do believe in cultivating your own garden, and I mentioned this phrase in my last blog post. The euphemistic phrase, “ culture your own garden, “ is something I try to emulate. To me, it also means the grass is greener where you water it, essentially.
Although at times, I believe there are unseen forces, aka... kismet and serendipitous events. The mysterious nature of energy and vibratory patterns we cannot see, which gives us a feeling of belongingness without trying, is present. It is the hidden chemistry we cannot describe. We say things like, “It just feels right.”
To quickly summarize my jibber jabber: I am grateful for this home, our friends new and old, our health and adventurous spirits, and to have a partner who loves me ( Thank you, Stephen). There is a book I have shared with folks in the past called “ Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart, “ by Gordon Livingston. One of the best takeaways was the 3 things to make you happy: 1) someone to love, 2) something to do, and 3) something to look forward to… I truly believe these are concrete ideas. I feel like I am rambling and philosophizing just to say: IT HAS BEEN OVER A YEAR IN CENTRAL WASHINGTON AND WE ARE HAPPY TO BE HERE! AND I FEEL LIKE WE BELONG HERE!
